Jekyll Island, Georgia, was our first retirement travel stop in our 2020 Airstream adventure across the United States. We are planning to visit all 51 of the National Parks in the lower 48, along with many other State Parks as well. We also plan to visit all 50 states, so follow along on our adventure.
In this video we stayed at the Jekyll Island campground and saw some amazing scenery of this beautiful island. The entire island is a state park and filled with fun things to do.
We discovered Driftwood Beach at sunrise, where John went for an early morning run.
John and Bev both went biking along low country marshes filled with birds. We stopped to watch some young people enjoying the beach and catching crabs, along with riding under the canopy of live oak trees and Spanish while exploring the renowned Historic District.
Laugh along with us as we learn the fine art of RVing in America. Be sure to put Jekyll Island, Georgia, on your bucket list.
