We continue our retirement travel by visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado. We started the day off with hot biscuits and Grandma Bean’s Homemade Chocolate Gravy Recipe and then head to the park for some snow fun in the Rocky Mountains.
It was one of the earliest and largest snowfalls in recent history. We do some hiking, make snow angels and have a snowball battle. The park is more beautiful than ever under a dusting of snow.
We finish up in Estes Park, Colorado, and eat a variety chocolates and drink hot chocolate from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. It was a memorable day dedicated to both John and Bev’s moms, who are unable to travel at this time.
