Slovakia wasn’t on our radar until we went to Vienna and learned that it was just an hour ride on a train to visit. We only spent a day, but it certainly made a great impression. We will return because now we know the food and hospitality is king there, and we like both!

We recommend May-September as a great time to visit for good Slovakia weather. Summers are not too hot and evening temperatures will be pleasant. There is a little more rainfall in the summer months, but nothing to be concerned about.
