Guatape | The Best Day Trip from Medellin

Our Colombia Guatape vlog takes us on a private day tour to the Piedra del Penol. We also visit the town of Guatape, about two hours from Medellin. Jaime, our tour guide with @kachaycolombiatours, did a fantastic job and was knowledgeable about the area. We first visited a replica of the relocated town of El Penol before visiting the magnificent rock, El Penon de Guatape (it has several names). After climbing the 740 steps to the top to see some fantastic views, we had a wonderful lunch and did some sightseeing in the colorful town of Guatape, Colombia. This excursion is a must-day trip if you are visiting Medellin.
