If you visit this amazing city, there are many things to see, and deciding where to stay can be challenging. Kolonaki is within walking distance of downtown, near the Metro stops, and has plenty of great area restaurants and shopping, close to the Benaki Museum. An easy hike up Lycabettus Hill to see some fantastic city views. It is also much less touristy than the areas near the Acropolis, which is another reason it is our favorite area to stay.
