Crater of Diamonds State Park – Diamond Mining in Arkansas
We continue our retirement journey as we go mining for diamonds at an Arkansas Diamond Mine at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. It is the only place in the world where anyone in Arkansas can dig for diamonds. See if we were able to find the big one!! Be sure to bring some small tools for digging and sifting screens to dig for diamonds. Afterward, we walk down Bath House Row at Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. John samples the healing waters of the hot springs, and we visit the nearby Garvan Woodland Gardens with the stunningly beautiful Anthony Chapel. If you need ideas on what to do in retirement, follow along.
More than just Dig for Diamonds in Arkansas
Be sure to watch our video on Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas. We visited this museum for the first time and we we amazed at the wide variety of art, the incredible structure of the museum, and the beautiful landscaped grounds surrounding the museum. This state has so much to offer and we want to show you everything.
