Panama
We have gathered travel information, facts and weather for Panama for your trip. We hope this page helps you plan a great trip to this beautiful country!
This country is unique in many ways and worthy of a visit. It is where the northern and southern parts of the Western World beautifully connect, and an impressive, cosmopolitan city can be found alongside wild, lush rainforests. It is also home to one of the most significant shortcuts in the world. The Panama Canal is an engineering marvel; visiting it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch the massive container ships pass by and learn more about its history. Another advantage of traveling here is its accessibility. It is just a 2.5-hour flight from Miami to this tropical paradise. It also uses the US dollar, and English is widely spoken. Our Visit
Our month was filled with fun experiences thanks to these two. While we technically aren’t related to Gabriel and Layla (he’s our brother-in-law’s, uncle’s, grandson), they are family nonetheless. They were lovely to show us around Panama City and helped make the first month of our worldwide adventure special. We will always cherish our time with them both.

Our recommendation is to visit from January-April and plan most of your activities for the morning and late evening hours. The Panama weather has afternoon temperatures that can get hot, but you won’t get the nearly daily rains from May through November.
