Jekyll Island, in the Golden Isles, was our first retirement travel stop while visiting all 50 states. Join us in this video as we stayed at the Jekyll Island campground and saw some fantastic scenery on this beautiful island. We loved Jekyll Island, discovered Driftwood Beach at sunrise, biked along low country marshes filled with birds, and journeyed on trails under the canopy of live oak trees and Spanish moss while exploring the renowned Historic District. We’re not sure we’ve seen many beaches as lovely as Driftwood Beach, although Jekyll Island beach is excellent. So laugh with us as we learn the fine art of RVing in America as we make our first stop in Jekyll Island, which we consider as the best of the Golden Isles of Georgia.
