We had an opportunity as travel bloggers to play in a charity golf tournament at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. We went to this event because benefited Homes For Our Troops (HFOT), which is a publicly funded 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. Their mission is building homes and rebuilding lives by donating specially adapted custom homes to severely injured post-9/11 combat Veterans. We encourage you to visit their website to donate or volunteer. We were so impressed with the organization. It was moving to see the incredible changes this charity has made in the lives of our injured American heroes. Please consider making a donation to this fine organization.
