Azur Restaurant and Patio
Azur Restaurant and Patio brings Europe right to the heart of Lexington. With its European ambiance, enjoy signature dishes like the lobster crepes, pan-seared sea scallops and mahi-mahi served over cream butternut squash and mushroom risotto, or a blackened salmon sandwich. Be sure to check them out on Friday and Saturday when they have live music out on their patio. This restaurant was a wonderful overall experience and one of our favorites in retirement so far.
Distilled on Jefferson
Opened since 2014, Distilled on Jefferson, takes great pride in sourcing ingredients that incorporate an artful and elevated approach to southern cuisine. Here you will find dishes that please every palate, including short rib tacos, Henry burger, and extensive list of wine, bourbon, and cocktails. Distilled on Jefferson is open for lunch Wednesday through Saturday and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Be sure to make reservations, especially on the weekends.

The Grove
Located in a 1849 historic building that was once a pharmacy, The Grove, is a local favorite that offers a collection of top rated restaurants, beautiful beer garden, coffee joints, and food trucks. While you relax and enjoy live local bands, be sure to try a delicious charcuterie board at Fable, cocktails at Harvey’s Bar, and coffee at Nate’s Coffee. The Grove is open Wednesday through Sunday.
OBC Kitchen
Located in a century-old barn, OBC Kitchen is the perfect place to stop during your visit to Lexington. Set along the Lexington bourbon trail, you’ll find a collection of rare bourbons here. You will also find a wide array of wines and craft beers. Shrimp gnocchi, crispy pork belly tacos, smoked mac and cheese and warm buttermilk donuts are just a few of the delicious southern comfort dishes they offer. Be sure to check them out for dinner or brunch on the weekend.
Carson’s Food and Drink
