Homesteading Oregon and Learning How to Milk a Cow
Are you looking for what to do in retirement or need date night ideas? We found a great Airbnb experience in the Portland, Oregon, area. It was cow milking!! Our new activity was so much fun, and we learned more about homesteading. After searching Airbnb experiences for relaxation and massage, John found the perfect activity for us, neither of us had ever done this before, and we didn’t know much about homesteading.
We booked an experience with the Jones Homestead and Operation through Airbnb Experiences. We learned about homesteading and all the steps involved in milking a cow and processing the milk. It was a fun and educational date night. We were so mooooooooved by this experience we decided to donate a cow to a family in need through Heifer International. This highly rated non-profit organization is based in Bev’s home state of Arkansas and has a goal to end hunger and care for the earth.
